Science is not just for scientists
Science is not just for scientists
I am one of those scientists who feel that it is no longer enough just to get on and do science; we need to devote an equal amount of time to communicate our research to the world. Interaction between citizens, scientists and policy makers is essential to enrich innovation and reinforce trust of society in science
Following this belief, I have joined some amazing projects and teams during the last few years. See some examples below.
All my talks are tailored to the audience and can be focused on any area of scientific publishing, public funding or alternative careers to academia.
Opinion and research highlights. Feel free to read my articles for Chemistry World, the magazine of the Royal Society of Chemistry, distributed worldwide.
I am always pleased to explain and discuss the latest trends in science. Listen to my latest interview on the topic of public funding (in Spanish).
Translating the most interesting articles from English to Spanish, so readers of C&EN (American Chemical Society) can enjoy science in their mother tongue.
Acting as a mentor on initiatives such as REBECA, I empower and facilitate young researchers to reflect about their options beyond academia.
